  1. What is a quorum?  A quorum is three or more Board members.
  2. When does the Gardnerville Town Board meet?  The Town Board meets the first Tuesday of the month beginning at 4:30 pm in the Town Hall located at 1407 Highway 395, Gardnerville, Nevada 89410.  The Board may also meet at other times (when necessary) after posting of a duly noticed meeting (minimum of three working days prior).
  3. How do I request a copy of the meeting agenda?  You may download or view agendas in portable document (.pdf) format by using the appropriate link.  You may also request to be placed on the Town's Agenda Distribution mailing list for a mailed copy by contacting the Town Administrative offices at (775) 782-7134.
  4. What is the agenda "Consent Calendar"?  The consent calendar is comprised of more routine business-oriented agenda items and is acted upon in one motion and vote.  Board members or members of the public may request agenda items to be pulled from the consent calendar for more discussion.  Pulled consent calendar items are typically heard at the beginning of the administrative agenda.
  5. Is the Gardnerville Town Board subject to the open meeting law?  Absolutely.  As a public body, the requirements of Nevada Open Meeting Law must be adhered to at all times.
  6. How do I request a specific agenda item be heard by the Town Board?  Request for an agenda item may be made by contacting the Town Administrative offices at (775) 782-7134.  Items can be placed on the next available agenda consistent with agenda preparation and public noticing.
