four (4) year terms of office. All Board offices are non-partisan.

reside within the Town of Gardnerville boundaries. For

Town
Manager Jim Park
Jim
is a Gardnerville resident and considers himself a native
Nevadan since being moved to the state when he was six
weeks old. He has been married to his wife, Pam, for 21
years. Pam and Jim have two children, Alyssa and Robert.
Pam, Alyssa, and Robert are native Nevadans.
Jim
has served as the Gardnerville Town Manager since 2000
after working for Clark County in Southern Nevada for 15
years. He has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration,
is a Certified Purchasing Manager, a Certified Public Official,
and is a member of many professional organizations, including
the International City/County Management Association and
the Nevada Local Government Manager’s Association.
Jim serves on various committees of the Carson Valley Chamber
of Commerce and is a member of the Douglas County Regional
Transportation Commission.
Jim enjoys spending time with his family, the men’s group of his local
church, and, as an Eagle Scout, serving the youth of the Boy Scouts of America
program.
